About Josh in the Bronx
Hey there! I’m Josh.
Welcome to Josh in the Bronx — a New York Yankees fan blog where we dive into everything Yankees: breaking news, player analysis, series recaps, free-agency projections, and tons more.
A little about me: I’m actually from Nebraska (I know — the name makes it sound like I’m from the Bronx, but nope, I just really love the Yankees). I grew up playing baseball and still watch it every chance I get. Nebraska doesn’t have major pro sports teams—aside from our powerhouse volleyball programs—so with the Huskers (Go Big Red!) and a few minor league teams as the local options, I had to look elsewhere for my MLB fandom.
Enter my dad. He grew up in Connecticut, loves the American League, and loves the Yankees. Naturally, I followed in his footsteps. We talk Yankees baseball constantly, obsess over every season, dream of a World Series return, and yes… we’re both hopelessly addicted to collecting baseball cards. It’s fine. We’re fine.
Lately, I’ve been craving a creative outlet—something beyond the day-to-day grind. I love the Yankees, I’ve always wanted to write, and this blog is where those things come together. I’m glad you’re here, and I genuinely hope you enjoy what I put out. If you don’t, feel free to let me know in the comments—this is a passion project, and I’m always looking to get better.
Go Yanks!
